Online Backup

Active Online Backup, will become redundant on 30 September 2007. It will be replaced by Mamut Online Backup. As a user this means you need to upgrade your program to Mamut Online Backup, an even more stable, user friendly and value for money solution. There will be no change in price.

This is how you download and install Mamut Online Backup.

How to download and install the software
1. Download Mamut Online Backup for businesses or Mamut Online Backup for individuals by clicking the appropriate link (file size approx 630 KB)*

2. Choose Run to start the installation.

3. Choose your Language.

4. Read through the User agreement and select that you accept the agreement.

5. The program is installed

* Windows and Microsoft .NET Framework are required in order to use Mamut Online Backup.
(NB! If Microsoft .NET Framework is not installed, you will need to install Mamut Online Backup one more time. Install Microsoft .NET Framework here).

Registering a new account
Choose New account if this is your first installation and use of the service. If you have an account already, you can choose to Log in. Log in using the e-mail address and password you set up previously.

Should you have forgotten your password you can click on Forgot password? and we will at once send you a new password to your current e-mail address, if this has been registered to an existing account.

If you select New account, a wizard will pop up:

1. Enter a PC-Name and click on Next.

2. Set up an e-mail address and password. The e-mail address you enter here will then act as your user account for working with Mamut Teamwork 2006.

3. Activate your account by entering the four-digit activation code, which was sent to the e-mail address you entered previously.

4. Set a Mamut Key, e.g. "EXample110", and click on Next.

5. Confirm that you have saved your Mamut Key in a secure place by ticking the relevant box.

6. Click on Finish.
