Your domain name registrar is one of the former providers of domain names for Active24 / VI Internet. For technical reasons we must initiate a transfer of all the domains currently served by the current registrar agreement, to our own agreement within Active 24.
 
This will ensure better, more reliable services and is necessary to ensure continued delivery of your services by Active24. This process must be completed by May 7th 2008.
 
What you must do:
You must unlock your domain, and request the Authorisation Code (Authcode) that is required to enable the transfer of your domain.
 
Please conduct a WHOIS search here (http://registrar.verisign-grs.com/whois/) to check who your registrar is. The search result should look something like this:
 
   Domain Name: MYDOMAINNAME.COM
   Registrar: NAME OF YOUR REGISTRAR, LLC.
   Whois Server: whois.yourregistrar.com
   Referral URL: http://www.yourregistrar.com
 
Please go to the link located in “Referral URL” within the WHOIS search information, and contact your registrar from there to obtain the correct Authcode. If the domain is locked, ask them to unlock the domain to enable its transfer to Active24. Once complete, please issue a mail to us on support@active24.co.uk. When we initiate the transfer you will receive an email from your registrar telling you that a transfer has been initiated for the domain in question. You must authorise the transfer from within this email. The email will contain a link and an transfer key. Click on the link and insert the domain name and transfer key to authorize the transfer. Only when this is done can the transfer be initiated.
 
Please contact the current registrar of your domain name if you have any problems with these steps, and tell your registrar you want to move your domain to Active24.
 
Please note: This process must be completed by May 7th 2008.
